1. Position Your Design

Place your transfer on the desired area, ensuring it lies flat and free of large wrinkles. You may secure the transfer with heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting during pressing. As you gain experience, you’ll know when extra stability is necessary.

2. Press

Set your heat press to 310°F (155°C) and apply medium to high pressure for 13 seconds. Always test on a single piece first. Use a Silicone Upper Platen Cover or Garment Protector to shield your fabric from direct contact with the press. While additional heat, pressure, or time won’t harm the transfer, excessive settings may scorch the garment. If scorching occurs:

- Start by reducing the pressure.

- If needed, lower the temperature by 10–15°F while maintaining reduced pressure.

With a little practice, you’ll find the perfect settings for each fabric and material.

3. Peel Hot After a Few Seconds

Our Premium Easy Peel Technology, allows you to peel the transfer hot or cool. Wait a few seconds after pressing, then peel. If parts of the design fail to adhere:

- Lay the transfer back down.

- Press again with increased pressure and heat (+15°F).

- Repeat in 15°F increments if necessary.

The durability of our premium transfers ensures repeated pressing won’t damage the transfer.

4. Final Press & Wash Guidelines

Important: Unlike most DTF methods that recommend a single press, our extensive wash testing confirms that a final press is crucial for superior results.

Once the design is transferred and the film is removed:

- Cover the design with parchment paper or a single layer of t-shirt fabric.

- Press for approximately 15 seconds to enhance durability, improve softness, and reduce shine.

- For a glossy finish, use a guard sheet during the final press instead.

Carefully align your artwork in the desired print area. To keep the transfer securely in place during ironing, use our Thermal Heat Tape for added stability.

2. Press

Set your iron to the appropriate temperature for the material you’re using. If the transfer isn’t adhering properly, adjust the heat towards the cotton/linen setting, which is typically hotter, while ensuring it won’t damage the garment.

Before pressing, place our Silicone Garment Protector over the transfer and apply firm pressure for 20 seconds.

3. Peel Hot After a Few Seconds

Thanks to our proprietary Easy Peel Technology, you can peel the transfer either hot or cool. Wait a few seconds before peeling. If any part of the design doesn’t adhere, reposition the transfer and press again with increased pressure and an additional 15°F. If needed, continue increasing the heat in 15°F increments until the design fully adheres. The durability of NinjaTransfers ensures that repeated pressing won’t damage the transfer.

4. Final Press

Cover the design with the included parchment paper or a single layer of t-shirt fabric, then press for 15 seconds. This step softens the design, enhances durability, and reduces shine.

For a glossy finish, use our Protective Guard Sheet instead during the final press.

5. Washing Instructions

For best results, wash garments inside out in cold water. Since an iron applies heat with less pressure and consistency compared to a heat press, we recommend hang drying to preserve the design. If you choose to use a dryer, set it to low heat and keep the garment inside out.

Every iron varies in heat and pressure, so testing is key to finding the ideal settings for your transfers. Remember, you can’t overpress your transfers—the better the press, the more durable the design will be through multiple washes and drying cycles.

Refunds and Reprints

If you experience any issues with your order, contact us within 45 days of receipt to request a refund or reprint. We gladly reprint orders with print quality or adherence problems. However, we cannot reprint files that were uploaded in low quality.

For refund or reprint requests due to other reasons, prior approval from management is required.
